ANCESTROLOGY

trend book, part of Tales of Tomorrow

(school project)

Ancestrology is a a reflection on stories we hear and read about how our ancestors lived. What was it like to not have electricity? What if we had no supermarkets? Now that we are surrounded by a world of plenty, we feel the need to return to a more primitive state. Once you have it all, what is there to be discovered? Ancestrology is also primitive in style. It’s a style that celebrates and idealizes the life of our ancestors. Everything around us should imitate and emphasize our primitive connection to nature.
